The verb lobe is the lobe of a creature's brain which is used by the game engine to retrieve the verb identifier - as represented by the highest-firing neuron in the lobe - to be used to construct spoken sentences describing the current action of the creature. In the normal brain model, this is based on the highest-firing neuron in the decision lobe. The actual wording comes from non-brain-handled vocabulary learning.
