Button stimulus?

Are the buttons meant to stimulate creatures when pushed with stim#89, "Activate button"? The Creatures Development Standards indicates that this is the case. Or would it get creatures addicted to buttons, because it makes them toy-like? Or would it be stim#75, 'Wait', for pushing a button? Any ideas? ScoobyGambit 03:21, 28 April 2022 (UTC)

I don't know if it would make them addicted (could be worth an experiment), but none of the default C3/DS lift buttons use this stim, and #75 is only used by the lift itself. Actually, on a quick search, I couldn't find any default scripts using stim #89. The default scripts aren't perfect, but it may be that whoever wrote that on the CDS made a mistake. I also couldn't find any mention of buttons using this stim elsewhere. Allekha 14:35, 28 April 2022 (UTC)
While it's not used, it is mentioned that it's "correct", and should be used (specifically says ***While this is the "correct" stim, it is not used at all in C3/DS, possibly to prevent creatures from getting addicted to pushing buttons. Leaving it out does not impact a creature's ability to use lifts.) Verm 00:01, 29 April 2022 (UTC)
