Would it be useful for the wiki to include a section inside the CEx and CV ports for such things as 'keycommands'?  I gather that the 'right click' is command-click, which is different from most other Mac applications - this could cause a lot of frustration for new users.  - 220.237.30.150 09:24, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

For discussion on running Creatures 1 on various Mac OS and emulators see Talk:Macintosh Creatures.

Docking Station Standalone[edit]

Regarding a possible release of a freeware Macintosh Docking Station installer, it might seem unlikely that Kutoka would make the game available standalone but we will have to wait and see. They might feel that it would help market the game a year or so down the line or they might stick to the standard sales. No conclusive facts or quotes have been given - Don 21:49, 22 Oct 2005 (UTC)

If they released a freeware version of DS, it'd take the community all of a few minutes to hack it to run the Windows-only (and very cheap) Creatures 3 too, I'm sure. So I can't imagine it'd ever happen, it'd kill their sales. - Fuzzie 15:34, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Principle way of getting C3 these days: inside of Creatures Exodus. Nornagon 21:50, 23 Oct 2005 (UTC)

The thing is. If you already have a copy of C3, which most CC people do, they'd lose a sale. Also, C3 or the Windows-only Exodus is a lot lot cheaper to get hold of than the Mac-compatible Creatures Exodus, as far as I can tell. - Fuzzie 17:53, 25 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Mac-Specific Creatures Help?[edit]

Would it be useful for the wiki to include a section inside the CEx and CV ports for such things as 'keycommands'? I gather that the 'right click' is command-click, which is different from most other Mac applications - this could cause a lot of frustration for new users. - 220.237.30.150 09:24, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)

Yes indeed, that would be brilliant! - Don 14:58, 30 Nov 2005 (UTC)
