Socrates

Socrates was a Creatures 2 norn created by Lis Morris in her research on OHSS. In her words, Socrates:

did not have any reward or punishment from being tickled, slapped, or raising or reducing a drive

The name "Socrates" was intended to be a joke, as such a norn could not learn from experience - however, by relying on her instincts, Socrates actually did a far better job of operating in Albia than the standard norns, implying that the reward and punishment mechanism was actually making the norns stupider over time. This insight led to the work which would produce the Canny Norns.
