The perception lobe repeats the information contained in all lobes genetically marked "perceptible" in pre-c2e creature brains. Each perceptible lobe is copied into its own region of neurons within the perception lobe. This is done by lobe-specific functionality in the game engine, rather than dendrites like most other inter-lobe communication, because it is impossible for a lobe to receive inputs from more than two other lobes. As a result, the combination lobe is able to receive inputs from all perceptible lobes just by receiving inputs from the perception lobe.
