Mindscape was a French (previously American) video game developer and publisher based in Boulogne-Billancourt. They were the publishers for the Creatures series and originated the Early Adoption Program promotions.

The company was founded by Roger Buoy in October 1983 in Northbrook, Illinois.

In December 1989, video game company The Software Toolworks reached an agreement to acquire Mindscape.
