Millennium (aka Millennium Interactive, Ltd.) was the company that developed the original Creatures game, distributed by Mindscape. To better indicate the company's Alife focus, they created a company, Cyberlife, to whom all technology development was delegated (see history).
Millennium, along with several of the projects in development (including the game Medievil) was sold to Sony Entertainment in 1997 and the Cyberlife group, including the Creatures team, moved from Great Shelford to new offices on the Quayside in central Cambridge.
