Lisa hails from the USA - she has a degree majoring in Humanities from San Jose State University and has lived in La Mirada, Long Beach and Villa Park - but has lived and worked in the UK since at least 1997. Previous to her ''Creatures'' work, she was an art director, production editor and designer.

Lisa de Araujo joined Cyberlife in May 1998 to work on the marketing and website for Creatures 2. She continued to work for Creature Labs on Creatures 3, Docking Station, and some unfinished endeavours including Yeren, Project Loci and Hilarity High. If you saw a website design on an official Creatures site since mid-1998, chances are she was involved in it. When Gameware Europe bought up the assets of Creatures Labs, she returned to work on Creatures: The Albian Years, Creatures Village and Creatures Exodus.
