Jagent will be a tool (currently only a library) made in Java for creating, compiling, parsing, and otherwise manipulating all sorts of Creatures files. Jagent is being created by its founder (and, currently, sole programmer) User:RProgrammer.
Supported file types
Jagent currently supports these Creatures file types:
- C16_files
- PRAY_source (.txt templates) (--incomplete, only parsing is supported)
- PRAY (.agent) (--incomplete, only generating is supported)
Jagent is (possibly right now) being made to support these file types:
- S16_files
- BLK_files
- PRAY_source Generating
- PRAY Parsing
These file types are of a much lower priority:
- COB_files Old format
- RCB_files Old format
- SPR_files Old format
- MNG_files Not enough demand for too complex a format
- GEN_files It's Jagent after all!
- GNO_files It's Jagent after all!
These file types will (probably) never be supported:
- COS_files Because you can use jEdit for that (with a special mode by User:RProgrammer, e-mail him for it)
- Catalogue_files Same reason as COS, except there's no mode yet
- Config_files Same reason as COS, except there's no mode yet
- WAV_files
Project Status
Currently Jagent is just a library, no GUI (or console for that matter) interface exists. If you would like to attempt an interface, please contact User:RProgrammer at rprogrammer@gmail.com.
