The massive Gosh-hawk - larger than a Norn child - is the only bird of prey in Creatures 3. It will, from time to time, fly around the Norn Terrarium in search of the equally large Grazer It does not, however, eat Norns. It also serves an important role in the Norn Terrarium - when it feeds on Grazers, it produces many bones that the ant colony in the uper Norn Terrarium depends on for survival.

It also possesses a strange ability that was until recently unnoticed by many players - if placed in water, it will teleport away, presumably back to its nest.

The goshawk is a real terran bird.
