Fungi (Amanita albia)[edit]
The plentiful fungi are often the primary food of the Grendel, and are called "fruit" by creatures, and are a good source of protein. Their easily identified purple-and-gray spores also make a good snack and are considered "seeds". Fungi require some nutrition to grow, but can otherwise grow devoid of light or warmth.
