Hiya, I'm new. Formerly known as the girl desperately in need of C3 install help. ;)

Anyway, does anyone remember when they first got and played Creatures (any title in the series)? I got C1 when I was very little, when my father gave it to me (as a substitute for the Spyro the Dragon game I so desperately wanted). I couldn't figure out how the heck to breed creaures and I was deathly afraid of the grendels and the graveyard kit... (I'd slam the escape button whenever I saw either of those two lol)~ MollMO

I remember seeing C1 and C2 in a store, and thinking "Hmm, I'd like to buy those", but not doing so - and then, one day I decided to summon up my courage and actually go into the stores and buy them for myself. (Yes, I led a sheltered life. But I'm glad I made that choice :-)
The game itself was OK - I had a good time playing around with the norns - but the important thing behind it was the community, and of course the music. I never did buy or play a Spyro game, although I thought the purple outfit was hot (I wonder if he cribbed from Figment). --GreenReaper(talk) 09:11, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
Once upon a time, a much younger, more naive muffin went to the local WalMart with his dad looking for Christmas presents. It was then that I spied a copy of Creatures sitting on the shelf in the original American release box. Thinking it looked pretty neat (I agreed), Dad offered to buy it and hold on to it for me until Christmas. I did not realize how much this would end up changing my life. I messed around with it, found some websites, downloaded some COBs, started breeding Norns... soon, I found JRChat.
It was all downhill from there. I stopped playing eventually (I only rarely mess with Creatures much these days), but much like for GR, I have enjoyed the community aspect. I also have always liked developing things, and Creatures was an obvious choice of targets for my ambition. MECF was the first result of this. And so on. :) ElasticMuffin 22:53, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
