ElasticMuffin (aka MysticEttin) is a part-time wiki user, random website developer, and hacker in a select few computer languages. He received a copy of Creatures 1 in 1997 (when it still came in the original box!) and soon after got involved in the CC. He owned a Creatures website known as Mystic Ettin's Creatures Forest (MECF), which, after existing in various forms over a period of 5 years, shut down in late 2002. Since then he has been largely quiet in the community, with occasional brief reappearances, including his (failed) attempt at a community-based website, EemNet, and a concept for a unified Creatures content database, CCNet, which never materialized. Otherwise, he is an active regular of Sine, and is occasionally found lurking around the major community forums and, more rarely, JRChat.

His current projects include:

  • The Creature Repository - A new website designed for the sole purpose of making as many Creatures as possible available. He intends to finish it fairly soon (though time will tell). He has lately been working on an administrative backend and the site design.
  • HaverNet - A program for using the Haver chat protocol.

More information might be found at his personal website, http://diagonalfish.net.
