A Vehicle is an Agent or COB that Creatures (or other agents!) can be 'inside'. The Lifts from all the games and the C3/DS Inventory are both Vehicles.
From a coding point of view, Vehicles can be very versatile. For example, if a critter needs to carry something on its back (food, for example), you can use a Vehicle. There are also applications in Doors.
