- Creation announced by Andrea Karma Hearn on alt.games.creatures on Sun, Aug 3 1997.
- Originally known as the "Creatures WebRing." At some point the name was changed to "The Original Creatures WebRing." (This ring should not be confused with the current Creatures WebRing, which was originally the Creatures Webring 2.) When the ring home page was moved to HomeCreatures, it aquired a new name: "The Original and Official Creatures Web Ring," but apparently the name was never changed at WebRing.com, so the official name remained "The Original Creatures WebRing."
