Combining Articles[edit]

This page shouldn't exist, since we already have a Bengal Norn page. --Andrettin 08:21, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Erm, to my knowledge, the "Bengal Norn Page" is for Creatures 3, not Creatures Village. KaelisRa(talk)
It is for the 'Bengal breed', which is the same breed in both C3 and CV, and it makes no sense whatsoever putting them in separate articles just because the Bengal Norn breed makes two appearances. --Andrettin 13:39, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
It would surprise me, however, if the graphical content is the same, and, it would /also/ surprise me, if the genetics are the same, also. So, I disagree. KaelisRa(talk)
There are differences between the breeds (eg, genetics) other than the obvious (the name, and that they look different, etc). And many many other breeds which don't differ by that much have separate pages. - Fuzzie 14:56, 28 January 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, but the graphics are the same. The 'Tiger' norns just have a larger head in comparison to the Bengals, they are one and the same. --Andrettin 02:04, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
No, I am sorry. Since, you're clearly not listening. They are NOT one and the same. They are two different damn breeds... -KaelisRa(talk)
Andrettin is right about the image scaling but the Creatures Village Tiger Norn and the Creatures 3 Bengal Norn are still different breeds. They may be based on the same concept but, as it has been said, the genetics, body data and games supported are different. Personally I would much prefer them to keep their own pages, although the CV breed info does need filling out a lot - Don 20:09, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
Of course it needs to have different pages. They may look similar, but their genetics are vastly different. That's what matters. If I made a breed of Grendels that looked like Norns (note: I have), would they not get their own page because they use Norn sprites? ;) ElasticMuffin 22:00, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
I'd be inclined just to do a "see also" on both the existing C3 Bengal page and this page - although all of the CV breed pages are rather small. Obviously the tiger-striped design was a favourite of someone... ;) We do need to think about what have we done in other, similar cases? I think that trying to cover more than one game in a single article can get quite confusing, even when using headers. - Malkin 23:09, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
