Ths may be a contreversy, but has EA taken a leaf out of Millenium's book with Spore? It in many ways is a similar game, and the creatures article on wikipedia links to the game. Anybody got any views on this?{{SUBST:nosubst|User:TheBladester/sig}} 21:10, 19 October 2008 (UTC)

I honestly don't think it is -- Spore is more of a city builder that had a baby with The Sims, which has an easier creature creation system if anything. From what I know, there's nothing really too special about their brain mechanisms. They may have just linked it because its a highly anticipated, well-known game that readers could relate to, that some Wikipedia user deemed appropriate. Life sims pretty much follow a similar formula anyway-raise something to accomplish something. I hope that answers your question. :) MollMO 04:23, 21 October 2008 (UTC) MollMO

Mind you, the reviews for it claim that it's a half-hour game and that it is not much of a breakthrough compared to creatures and other AI life form games. I guess it's not a copy after all.--{{SUBST:nosubst|User:TheBladester/sig}} 10:06, 26 October 2008 (UTC)

Not to mention it's the most piratated game in history with 500,000 bittorrent downloads, all thanks to DRM issues created for "Stopping" pirates, shiver me timbers! Skulll9000 15:47, November 21, 2009 (UTC)
