Fever toxin is a chemical in the Creatures series that can be present during infections of diseases, present in small quantities in badplant seeds or injected by some 'badbugs'.
In Creatures 1, where it is present in the Bees and Hive Upgrade and bacteria, it is largely an inconvenience, as it does not have large effects on behavior (besides encouraging Forest Norns to push herb).
In later games, it can deplete a creature's stock of water, interfering in respiration and possibly causing death if the creature overheats.
