The Encyclopedia Creaturica intended to act as a reference for all Creatures information, in the vein of an encyclopedia. Unlike the Creatures Wiki, it used hand-written software and was to include various community features, such as a forum. However, the project was developed in secret, and subsequently the Creatures Wiki launched first and gained all the attention. Eventually, the developers decided that it was not worth continuing, as the website's main purpose had already been fulfilled.
