The Edible, Pushable, Squishable Balloon Bugs was a .COS file edit by Malkin, making the balloon bugs stimulate creatures when they pushed or pulled the balloon bugs, as well as making the balloon bugs vanish when they were eaten and giving nutrients to creatures, and making the balloon bugs go 'pop' when they are hit by creatures.  It is possibly an earlier example of the increased interest in making more interactive and stimulating agents seen in AquaShee's Creatures Development Standards project.  The Edible, Pushable, Squishable Balloon Bugs included Vampess's Minor Fixes to balloon bugs.  It was a CCSF 2009 release, and was re-released with an update to the Ettin Desert seed bank for CCSF 2012. Since then, both files have been superseded by Verm's C3 Improved Desert Terrarium.

It is available to download at Eemfoo.org.  Note that this file comes with an update to the Ettin Desert seed bank which will break the game unless it is used in concert with Malkin's Meerk Update (also superseded by Verm's Improved Desert Terrarium).
