ATP Decoupler is a deadly, fast-acting poison in Creatures 3. It quickly turns ATP, a vital chemical, into ADP, killing the creature within seconds of its release into the bloodstream. The only natural source of it is bacteria; however, the Steam release altered bacteria so that they can no longer produce it.
The poison can be cured by Medicine One, but ATP Decoupler's speed makes it nearly impossible to administer in time.
